About Kristen Ivy
Kristen holds a bachelor’s of education from Baylor University (2004). Fresh out of undergraduate work, she began her career in the public school system as a high school Biology and English teacher where she learned firsthand the joy and importance of influencing the next generation.
After leaving the school system, Kristen earned a Master of Divinity from Mercer University (2009) and began a seventeen-year journey in non-profit work where she played an integral role in developing educational and religious curricula for kids and teenagers. She is the Co-Founder of The Phase Project, a research-led initiative to help adults grow in empathetic understanding of preschool, elementary, and teenage humans. She enjoys sharing her expertise with leaders and parents at events across the USA and Internationally.
Kristen has also co-authored twenty-four books, including the best-selling: 18-part Phase Guides series (Parenting Your New Baby, Parenting Your One-Year-Old…).
